Job Title: Sensory Taste Panelist

Job Location: Plainsboro NJ 08536

Duration: 6 Months.

Pay rate: $24/hr.

Job Description:

·         This person in this position will support sensory research studies by preparing test samples, conducting sensory panels, managing panelists, maintaining laboratory supplies, and ensuring testing procedures are followed accurately.

Key areas of accountability/responsibility

·         Prepare samples for sensory studies and run panels by meticulously following protocols and instructions

·         Accomplish retention and recruitment of panelists via online surveys, websites, etc.

·         Maintain a well-organized laboratory and inventory, document procedures

·         Assist with panel proctoring.

·         Responsible for breakdown of testing and cleanup of testing materials

·         Attention to detail is a must, familiarity with lab procedures a plus.

·         Responsible for cleaning fabrics used in testing in on-site laundry room.

Required Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred

·         At least 1 year of lab experience is strongly preferred.

·         General knowledge of sensory science is preferred.

·         Candidate will need to be able to lift up to 30lbs.
