Job Description
Seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale technology initiatives supporting statewide education systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large IT implementations, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and expertise in planning, execution, risk management, and project governance. Candidates must possess a PMP certification and have a proven track record managing large-scale IT projects within complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure successful project execution.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Prepare executive status reports and communicate project health.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Manage project documentation, requirements, meeting minutes, and technical artifacts.
• Ensure projects adhere to PMO standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Program Managers across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
• 7 years of IT industry experience.
• 4 years managing enterprise IT projects.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing projects within program environments.
• Experience leading large-scale implementation projects.
• Strong experience gathering business and technical requirements.
• Experience preparing technical documentation and project artifacts.
• Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
