Job Title: Peoplesoft Consultant
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Employment Type: Contract
Mandatory Qualifications
A minimum of seven (7) years of IT experience.
Four (4) years of experience in process engineering.
Two (2) years of experience in project management .
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Experience working on large, complex projects that had enterprise-wide impact that required subject mater expertise of multiple process improvement areas and mastery of process improvement tools.
Experience as a project team member on multiple projects to facilitate process improvements involving multiple sites or business areas, often as a project leader.
Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Florida State government
Experience working with functional owners of a business process/system
Experience working with PeopleSoft
Experience working with functional owner of a business process/system to communicate and clarify customer requirements, processes and understanding of technical concepts
Knowledge of business processes related to accounting, payroll, or financial management
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform tasks on site at DFS Tallahassee locations
