SCHEDULE: M-F Client asks that candidates are flexible to work core should be between 7:45 and 5pm. Will discuss with candidates during interview
Responsibilities:
Room patients, Vitals, Phlebotomy, use EMR to alert providers that patient is ready: review past medical, surgical, family, smoking history, allergies, medications and other responsibilities as assigned.
Front Desk work/meet patients, schedule visits/clinical phone communication
CSA duties, great customer service and able to work in fast paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES: MA and PSR: The Clinical Services Associates (CSA) assists the practice manager and physicians in maintaining a patient/customer focus, supports the delivery of high-quality care, shares a passion for patient and customer centered care, and assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets. The CSA supports the practice by performing clinical and administrative duties as a Medical Assistant and as a Patient Services Associate. The practice will determine, based on operational needs, how much time will be spent in each capacity (MA and PSA).
EXPERIENCE:
2 years working in physician office setting
EPIC experience is a plus

TRAINING:
4-hour EMR training Friday from 8a-1p (1-hour break.)
HIPAA Module (15 minutes.)
4-Day EMR Scheduling Training after start (Tuesday-Friday.)

SCHEDULE: Weekly schedule will include 1 late shift of 12pm-8:30pm, 3 shifts ranging from 7:45am-5:30pm and Saturdays alternating every 4 weeks (hours 8a-12)p; will leave early on Thursdays if working the Saturday to make 40 hours.
A sample schedule would be:

Position overview:
Patient Service & Scheduling:
Answering patient calls and handling inquiries promptly, following protocols and service standards.
Scheduling appointments (in person or by phone), confirming details, and rescheduling or canceling as needed.
Managing patient arrival and departure activities — collecting copays, obtaining insurance cards, signatures, and referrals, and updating records in the EMR.
Communicating wait times and patient flow to both patients and staff
Financial & Administrative Tasks:
Verifying patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits
Obtaining pre-authorizations, referrals, and coordinating benefits
Regulatory & Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local
Maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
Customer Experience:
Anticipating patient needs and resolving issues promptly
Building positive relationships with patients, visitors, and staff
TRAINING: 4 Day EPIC training from Tuesday through Friday, 9-5. New hire must pass assessment at the end of the week. 15-minute HIPAA training module.
Salary : $24 - $26
