Overnight Shift Schedule Options:
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Weekend shifts include a pay differential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer evening or scheduled nighttime medications
- Monitor client well-being throughout the night and perform periodic safety checks
- Support clients with toileting or mobility needs as needed
- Document nighttime observations, medication administration, and incidents
- Prepare and communicate shift updates to the morning team and RN Supervisor
- Maintain a calm and secure overnight environment for clients
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CMT certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing
- Prior experience with overnight or residential caregiving preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication
- Compassionate, calm, and patient demeanor
- Physical ability to assist clients and manage mobility support
