Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Direct Materials MMS Admin to support supply chain and inventory operations. This role serves as a key liaison between vendors, receiving teams, and technology platforms, helping ensure the smooth processing of inbound materials and inventory transactions.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with MMS, Blue Yonder, ASN/EDI processes, and direct materials inventory management. This position is critical to supporting vendor onboarding, inventory accuracy, and receiving operations.
Must‐Haves
- Experience with MMS (Material Management System)
- Experience with Blue Yonder
- Knowledge of ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) and EDI processes
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations
- Direct Materials Inventory experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities: System Administration & Data Management
- Build and manage ASNs within MMS through mid-year
- Support transition activities from MMS to Blue Yonder
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping data within applicable systems
Vendor Support
- Assist overseas vendors with ASN conversion and processing within MMS
- Provide support to vendors regarding shipping documentation and system requirements
- Bridge communication gaps between vendors and internal teams
Receiving & Inventory Operations
- Support receiving operations by ensuring ASNs are processed accurately
- Assist receiving teams with inventory and shipment validation
- Help maintain inventory accuracy and material visibility
Labeling & Compliance
- Reapply and verify labels as required
- Ensure labeling complies with ASRS induction requirements
- Support process improvements related to receiving and inventory controls
Qualifications
- Experience working in supply chain, inventory, logistics, or materials management environments
- Strong knowledge of:
- MMS
- Blue Yonder
- ASN processing
- EDI transactions
- Shipping & Receiving workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
