Job title: DevOps Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA, USA (Hybrid- 2x/week office)
Pay Rate: $109 on W2
As a DevOps & LLM Engineer you will streamline and automate software development and deployment processes while contributing to the design, optimization, and integration of large language models (LLMs) to support advanced application development.
Key Responsibilities:
DevOps Engineering
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate provisioning and configuration of resources.
- Perform regular security assessments and apply necessary patches and updates to maintain system integrity.
LLM Engineering
- Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate large language models (LLMs) for performance, efficiency, and alignment with product or research goals.
- Implement scalable inference pipelines, optimizing serving infrastructure (quantization, caching, distillation).
- Integrate models into applications or APIs.
- Lead experimentation with new architectures, prompt-engineering techniques, or retrieval systems.
- Collaborate with product, data, and ML operations teams to translate research into production features.
