Job Opportunity: Marketing Administrative Assistant at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance
Location: Jackson, MS
Role and Responsibilities: Responsible for providing a broad range of administrative and office management services in support of the Sales Training and Career Development department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Training and Career Development Department.
- Carry out administrative duties such as reports, filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
- Maintain training supply inventory.
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist with answering phone calls.
- Responsible for coordinating and scheduling new agent schools with each state.
- Responsible for maintaining and creating invoices for vendors as needed.
Qualifications:
• Associates Degree or 2 years administrative experience
• Professionalism and confidentiality
• Base knowledge of all Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to manage time
• Good typing skills
• Ability to function effectively in the workplace as exhibited through one's integrity, courage to act and communication skills
• Ability to work with others effectively as exhibited through one's respect for people and commitment to teamwork
