Landscape Lead Installer / Installation Foreman

Pay: $25–$30/hr, depending on experience

Full-time | Outdoor, hands-on leadership role

Sexton Lawn & Landscape is hiring an experienced Landscape Lead Installer / Installation Foreman to lead and work alongside a crew on landscape construction projects throughout the Gulf Coast.

This is not a maintenance-only role. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in landscape installation, hardscapes, planting, drainage, irrigation, and equipment operation. The right person can keep a crew moving, follow plans, solve problems in the field, and help deliver high-quality finished projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead and work alongside a landscape installation crew
• Install plants, sod, mulch, drainage, irrigation, and hardscape features
• Build or assist with patios, walkways, retaining walls, stonework, and outdoor living spaces
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, trenchers, compactors, and landscape tools
• Read and follow project plans, layouts, and job specifications
• Keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Identify and solve job site issues as they come up
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Help train and develop crew members
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Landscape installation, landscape construction, or hardscape experience
• Previous crew lead, foreman, or job site lead experience
• Experience with planting, sod, drainage, irrigation, pavers, retaining walls, or similar work
• Ability to operate or learn equipment used in landscape construction
• Ability to perform physical outdoor work in different weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Pavers, stonework, concrete, or retaining wall experience
• Ability to read blueprints, landscape plans, or site layouts
• CDL or equipment operator certification
• Irrigation or drainage installation experience
