Our organization is looking for a Revenue Cycle and Patient Services Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the revenue cycle process and be able to identify and address any issues that arise. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring patient accounts, ensuring accurate ledger posting/billing, and resolving any discrepancies. The Revenue Cycle / Patient Services Specialist must also be able to provide accurate financial reports to management and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze daily charges and patient ledgers for accuracy.
- Perform data entry and other administrative tasks related to billing and collections.
- Ensure accuracy of patient accounts and insurance information.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in patient accounts.
- Review and send patient statements.
- Work with patients to ensure timely payment of bills.
- Negotiate payment plans with patients as needed.
- Manage collections with Credit Bureau Services
- Manage patient recall notifications.
- Provide monthly revenue reports.
- Monthly sales tax report.
- Analyze and update fee schedules annually or as needed.
- Insurance credentialing and correspondence.
- Order office supplies.
Seconary Responsibilities:
- Back up front desk staff as needed.
- Any other miscellaneous office tasks as required by office management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
