What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Billing Specialist—Revenue Cycle position at BEATRICE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL & HEALTH CENTER?
Job Duties:
The position is responsible for submitting claims to third party payers for all hospital and hospital based providers or physician clinic and physician clinic providers, pursues collection of all claims until payment is made by insurance companies and may perform other clerical duties necessary to complete billing process.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. General secretarial experience required, healthcare experience preferred. Post secondary education may substitute for years of experience. 1 year of experience.
Shift Schedule:
Full-Time; Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
