Contract Specialist

In anticipation of a contract award, we are looking for a Contract Specialist who will provide end-to-end acquisition support to federal contracting activities, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and timely execution of procurement actions. This role supports government customers while maintaining operational security and accurate documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Perform full lifecycle contracting functions and manage acquisition documentation.
• Interpret and apply FAR and agency-specific procurement regulations.
• Analyze cost elements to support pre-negotiation positions and source selection activities.
• Use contract-writing systems (e.g., PRISM) and federal acquisition databases (e.g., FPDS, SAM.gov).
• Administer or award services contracts, including federal-wide and multi-agency contract vehicles.
  
  

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university (transcripts required).
• Minimum five (5) years of cradle-to-grave contracting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with contract-writing software.
• Knowledge of FAR Parts 8, 12, 13, 15, and 16, including BPAs and IDIQs.
• Familiarity with GSA MAS, OASIS , and other federal/multi-agency contract vehicles.
• Experience preparing acquisition plans, solicitations, and source selection documentation.
• Strong written/verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
