Hi there! Hannah and Brady, founders of Seven Sundays®, first discovered and fell in love with muesli on their honeymoon in New Zealand. Job Title: Production Coordinator
Department: Operations
Shift: Full-time, M-F, NO WEEKENDS
Location: St. Peter, Minnesota
The Production Coordinator is responsible for organizing, monitoring, scheduling, and coordinating production schedules at our manufacturing facility. This role ensures schedules are met, resources are used efficiently, and products meet quality and safety standards. The Production Coordinator role serves as a key liaison between departments including quality, maintenance, operations, and warehousing to ensure smooth communication and efficient production flow. Key Responsibilities:
- Review Seven Sunday Tools and work with procurement teams on coordinating production runs
- Purchase raw materials as needed and delegated by procurement teams
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to assist in production planning
- Review shipping and receiving documents
- Assist with troubleshooting delays or issues, escalating when necessary
- Create production job folders and work with an ERP system
- Review Inventory and monitor ingredient best by dates and usage
- Close production job folders, input production labor hours & raw materials, and reconcile inventory
- Collaborate with production leads, maintenance, quality, and operations to ensure equipment and product compliance
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste, while maintaining a safe and organized space.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing; preferably in a food manufacturing or general manufacturing setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Google Suite & Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with GMPs, food safety, and OSHA workplace safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; Spanish language skills a plus
- Utilization of ERP systems to properly plan and account for production needs.
