The Program Director II is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the program. The Program Manager will provide staff with direction, support training and ensure that the daily operations will be of the highest quality possible. The Program Manager will foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement within the program that emphasizes staff development, empowerment, cooperation and accountability. The Program Manager develops program procedures and program activities, supervises program staff and manages the training of program personnel. This is a federally grant-funded position under the GEAR UP initiative.

- Develop or expand programs or services under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President.
- Assist the Assistant Vice President with program budget development and monitoring.
- Conduct the interviewing process for potential employees.
- Manage the training of program personnel.
- Develop and manage program procedures and program activities.
- Make program policy recommendations.
- Represent the program at community meetings.
- Coordinate fundraisers and client special events.
- Supervise program staff.
- Conduct staff meetings.
- Prepare program reports.
- Oversee and monitor program budgets.
- Conduct outreach.
- Serve as a liaison and develop strong collaborative relationship with funding source.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- 5 or more years' experience in Human Services Management
- Educational requirements will be determined based upon programmatic requirements
- Valid Driver’s License, ability to drive and means of transportation
- Travel to other cities and towns may be required
