Key Responsibilities of the Travel Stepdown RN:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring intermediate or progressive care
- Assess, monitor, and document patient health status and progress
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond promptly and appropriately
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other clinical indicators
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery
- Support safe discharge planning and continuity of care
Requirements for the Travel Stepdown RN:
- Active Wisconsin (WI) Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown or Progressive Care nursing experience
