Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse – MedSurg RN:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions
- Assess, monitor, and document patient health status and progress
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective patient care
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery
- Support safe discharge planning and continuity of care
Requirements for the Travel Nurse – MedSurg RN:
- Active Maryland (MD) Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg nursing experience
