Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, responding to changes promptly
- Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries
- Administer medications and manage pain relief options
- Educate patients and families on childbirth, recovery, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state license)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (required)
- Minimum 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
