Job Title: Taproom Evening/Weekend Bar Manager

Job Summary:
Seven Arrows Taproom is looking for an engaging working manager to provide attentive and friendly service to our customers. You will also be responsible for balancing the cash register, cooking light food/appetizers, stock and replenishing supplies, light cleaning, and opening/closing duties.
This is a tipped position as you will be working shifts alongside bartenders so the range of pay varies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervise Bartenders and Kitchen
- Make schedule
- Ensure checklists are completed.
- Hold bartenders accountable to make sure things are getting done.
- Help with scheduling music and events.
- Post and keep up with social media sites.
- Assist with new hire employee training.
- Take weekly inventory.
- Take beverage orders from customers as requested.
- Change and tap kegs when empty.
- Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers.
- Monitor all customers for alcohol intake to appropriate levels.
- Assist in ensuring customers have a safe ride home, calling a taxi when appropriate.
- Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with customers.
- Keep bar area clean, safe, and organized.
- Take out trash. Clean and sanitize tables in taproom.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms during and at end of shift.
- Restock supplies of bar area and retail items.
- Use a quick cook convection oven to prepare appetizers for customers.
- Use point of sale Square Up system to collect credit card and cash transactions.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with technology to input sales transactions.
- Able to work with a team or alone.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two-year related experience.
- Knowledge of craft beer preferred.
- Other Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age. (This is due to MO liquor license laws)
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to lift or move 60-pounds.
- Must be able to stand for an 8-10 hour shift.
- Must be available to work evening and weekend shifts and some holidays.
Must get Serve Safe Manager Certificate and SMART Alcohol training within 30 days of hire date.

Pay: $1.00 - $21.00 per hour
