Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant/Bar Manager. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and foster a positive team environment. Your leadership will drive the success of our restaurant by managing staff, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and optimizing operational efficiency.
This position has flexible hours, could be anywhere from 15-30 hours per week, depending on the needs of the restaurant. Must be available weekends.
Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety protocols to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and reducing waste to maximize profitability
- Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food handling procedures, and safety standards across all areas of the restaurant
- Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
- Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
- Strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
- Skilled in POS systems for smooth transaction processing
- Exceptional staff training and development abilities with experience in supervising teams and conducting interviews
- Expertise in inventory control, food safety practices, and budgeting to optimize restaurant operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Knowledge of catering, banquet operations, bar service, and hotel or hospitality experience is a plus
- Bartending/serving experience is preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
