The Junior Technology Specialist plays a critical role in the smooth operation of IT services, providing first-line technical support to users via phone, email, messaging, or in person.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Acts as local IT support.
• Manages ticket queue and phone line for customer inquiries.
• Monitors and maintains computer systems.
• Triages tickets in based on internal SLA’s.
• Responds to service issues and requests.
• Handles break/fix, configuration issues, troubleshooting, software installations, hardware repair.
• Installs, maintains, and supports local office hardware, including computers, mobile devices, and software.
• Troubleshoots hardware, software and network problems and document problems resolution.
• Maintains organized storage of local IT equipment.
• Administers enterprise platforms.
• Additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; or 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with people in multiple disciplines and multiple levels of the organization.
• Be willing to get involved in multiple assignments and IT competency areas.
• Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Have experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Exhibit an open mind and explores possibilities.

Pay & Benefits

The anticipated compensation range for the position is $44,000 - $50,000 annually, is based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, flexible paid time off, paid holidays, sick time, and a matching 401K plan.
