Dishwasher Responsibilities:
- Assure sanitation and quality standards are met by following cleaning, storage, and food preparation according to policy and procedures, and as directed by Nutrition Services Manager.
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, service areas, hospitality carts according to the cleaning schedule, policy, and procedures, and as directed by Nutrition Services Manager.
- Verify and document appropriate temperature and sanitizer level logs for dish washing equipment using approved procedures, notifying supervisor for any incorrect levels.
- Distribute and store clean items.
- Empty trash receptacles as required.
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience preferred.
- Must have fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
- Must be able to tactfully communicate with co-workers, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
- Must have regular, predictable, and dependable attendance.
