Salary: $75,000-$105,000 DOE
About the Role
Our client is a Houston-based luxury kitchen and bath company seeking a Product Data Manager to own and structure a large, complex product catalog (2.5M listings) within a growing e-commerce environment.
This role sits at the intersection of e-commerce, ERP systems, and data architecture—directly impacting product discoverability, site performance, and revenue. This is a highly hands-on role with full ownership—ideal for someone who enjoys building structure in a fast-moving environment while working within a small, collaborative e-commerce and IT team.
What You’ll Do
- Own and drive product data quality across a large catalog (100K SKUs)
- Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and structure
- Lead catalog cleanup and normalization efforts
- Manage product data intake to ensure accuracy before items go live
- Partner with internal teams to align data with website performance and operations
- Ensure clean and accurate data flow between ERP and e-commerce systems
- Establish and maintain data governance standards and scalable processes to ensure ongoing data quality and consistency
Required Experience
• 3–7 years of experience in product data management, catalog management, or PIM administration in an e-commerce or distribution environment
• Hands-on experience cleaning and normalizing large product catalogs (100,000 SKUs)
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, and data transformation
• Experience with scripting for bulk data operations (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Demonstrated ability to define data standards and enforce them across an organization
• Experience working with ERP systems in a product data context (NetSuite experience is a strong plus)
Preferred Experience
• Experience in building materials, plumbing, kitchen, bath, or home improvement product lines
• Experience with PIM platforms such as Akeneo, Salsify, Pimberly, or DDS Acadia
• Familiarity with manufacturer data feeds (EDI 832/846, flat file imports, API integrations)
• Experience with product data syndication and SEO optimization for e-commerce
• Experience managing complex product variants (multiple finishes, sizes, configurations)
• Experience supporting ERP migrations or major system transitions from a data perspective
