Currently serving over 15 prestigious hotels in the Caribbean, we are on a path of continuous growth. To enhance our financial operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team.
Position Overview:The Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate financial management of our operations. The successful candidate will have experience in accounting, particularly in areas such as invoices, accounts payable, accounts receivables, and proficiency in QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivables.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather and organize financial data for reporting purposes.
- Assist in budget analysis and financial planning activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.
- Utilize QuickBooks for efficient financial tracking and reporting.
- Managing the accounting for 4 companies within Sessa Brand Umbrella
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably with experience in a part-time capacity.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and other financial management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
