Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Payroll Specialist to support our growing client base. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working behind the scenes, and takes pride in accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for multiple clients across various industries
- Ensure payroll accuracy, including wages, deductions, bonuses, and taxes
- Manage payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Handle new employee onboarding, terminations, and payroll-related updates
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with clients and internal team members regarding payroll matters
- Stay current on payroll laws and best practices
Qualifications
- 2 years of payroll processing experience (multi-client or firm experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, or similar)
- Solid understanding of payroll tax compliance and reporting requirements
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Integrity, professionalism, and alignment with COR’s values
Work Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time (approx. 15–25 hours per week)
- Flexible schedule with defined payroll deadlines
