Primary Responsibilities
Product Marketing Strategy
- Define and execute the product marketing strategy for the company’s portfolio.
- Develop clear value propositions, positioning, and messaging.
- Translate technical capabilities into compelling customer benefits.
- Lead global go-to-market strategies for new product launches and upgraded solutions.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, communications and BD to ensure market needs are reflected in the product development.
- Build launch plans, sales enablement tools, and market entry strategies.
- Monitor global space and defense markets, including government procurement trends, emerging technologies, and geopolitical developments.
- Conduct competitive analysis across major aerospace and defense contractors.
- Identify new market opportunities and support strategic planning.
- Engage with key stakeholders including:
- government agencies
- military organizations
- prime contractors
- partners
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and defense exhibitions.
- Support major bids and strategic accounts with market insight and messaging.
- Be a strong player withing the existing MARCOM team and work with existing resources.
- Reporting line to the VP Marketing & Communication from SES Space & Defense.
- Close collaboration with parent company.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 10–15 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or business development.
- Experience within space, satellite, aerospace, or defense industries.
- Proven track record of launching complex technical products.
- Is a strategic thinker with the ability to align complex customer desirements with the company’s forward product roadmap and development priorities to achieve high-level business goals.
- Demonstrates outstanding leadership skills, fostering team cohesion and mentoring future leaders.
- Thrives in dynamic environments, managing ambiguity while maintaining focus on execution and results.
- Promotes a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and is committed to continuous improvement and organizational change with the ability to methodically and consistently convert Lessons Learned into organizational capability.
