This is a client-facing, senior-level role requiring strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy
- Develop and maintain the technical roadmap, architectural standards, and long-term strategy for automation and observability initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership across engineering teams, guiding best practices for automation, monitoring, and reliability engineering.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and patterns to support next-generation automation and observability capabilities.
Automation Design & Development
- Design and implement end-to-end automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and AWS CLI.
- Build and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and CI/CD pipelines to reduce manual efforts and improve operational efficiency.
- Identify automation opportunities across infrastructure, cloud services, application deployments, and incident response workflows.
Observability & Monitoring
- Implement and optimize observability frameworks using tools like Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana, and other monitoring platforms.
- Build dashboards, alerts, visualizations, and system health reports to improve reliability and visibility across environments.
- Analyze metrics, logs, and traces to proactively identify performance issues and areas for improvement.
AI & Emerging Technologies
- Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities to enhance automation, anomaly detection, and advanced observability use cases.
- Understand AI limitations and identify when—and how—AI should be applied to drive business value.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as a technical liaison with customers, business units, and leadership teams.
- Lead discussions, respond to complex questions, and confidently communicate architectural decisions.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure architectures follow secure-by-design principles, including isolation, least privilege, and secure data access.
- Support shift-left and shift-right security practices, such as SAST, SCA, secrets detection, RASP, and chaos engineering approaches.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in solution architecture, technical leadership, or automation engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, and cloud automation.

- Confidence in developing and presenting technical roadmaps to leadership and stakeholders.
- Experience securing architectures while enabling isolated yet enterprise-connected environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks, predictive analytics, and large language model integrations.
- Hands-on Python development experience and familiarity with ML algorithms or prompt engineering.
- Background working with distributed systems and microservices-based architectures.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines, automation testing frameworks, and resilient system designs.
- Knowledge of advanced reliability and security engineering practices (chaos engineering, shift-left testing).
