What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician position at SERVPRO?
Your local Servpro is looking for a full-time Water restoration technician. In this position you will be responsible for interacting with customers, solving problems and helping people every day. Are you organized, good with customers and enjoy being out of the office working in different homes and businesses every day?
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Project Managers on multiple jobs including water, mold, and fire damage.
- Inspect, evaluate, and document water damaged properties.
- Perform on-site services including, water removal, removal of damaged flooring/drywall and setting drying equipment to dry-out the affected building.
- Cleaning, hauling debris and crawlspace/attic work are also required at times.
- Will be required to work on call shifts and overtime
REQUIREMENTS
- Must maintain a positive attitude and work well in a team
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds safely
- Must be able to follow directions in a timely manner
- Must have a desire to learn and grow
- Must be able to perform overhead tasks, as well as tasks that include frequent bending and stooping or ladders.
- Must have a clean driving record in order to operate company vehicles.
- Must pass background, mvr, and drug screenings.
