We are a full turnkey provider — Water & Fire Emergency Services, Contents Management & Storage, Textile Cleaning, and full Reconstruction. As our business continues to grow across Texas, we are seeking a driven Field Sales who thrives in a fast-moving, high-performance environment and is energized by helping people through their most stressful moments while building lasting business relationships.


Position Overview

The Field Sales Representative –creates revenue opportunities by consulting with property owners and managers who have suffered any type of property damage event — water, fire, mold, storm, or other disaster. Field Sales are on call to rapidly respond to these events. Establishing trust and building rapport with property owners in the critical hours following a loss is paramount. Being knowledgeable across all aspects of restoration, reconstruction, contents handling, and insurance processes is key to success in this role.


Compensation: Base plus Uncapped Commission — Initial OTE $100,000 plus with sign on bonus

Key Responsibilities


Emergency Response

·      Respond immediately — 24/7 — to leads and emergency notifications generated through SERVPRO Team Shaw's internal dispatch and referral sources.

·      Arrive on scene rapidly to assess property damage and provide property owners with a clear, confident path to recovery.

·      Establish trust and build rapport with property owners and managers in the critical early hours following a loss event — acting with empathy, urgency, and professionalism.

·      Act as the liaison between the client and SERVPRO Team Shaw's operations personnel, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service from first contact through project completion.


Client Consultation & Service Communication

·      Effectively communicate SERVPRO Team Shaw's full suite of services — emergency mitigation, reconstruction, contents handling, textile cleaning, and specialty services — to affected property owners and managers.

·      Identify and articulate the critical steps and services necessary to achieve full property recovery, including navigating the insurance claims process.

·      Lead clients through the complex restoration and reconstruction process, providing peace of mind and proactive problem-solving at every stage.

·      Resolve client concerns proactively — turning service challenges into opportunities to build long-term trust and loyalty.


Business Development

·      Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas by executing the full sales cycle — building pipelines, setting appointments, and maintaining assigned contact lists.

·      Conduct cold calls and outreach during non-emergency periods to build new relationships and cultivate referral sources.

·      Build and nurture strategic relationships with property managers, insurance adjusters, facility managers, real estate professionals, and local business owners.

·      Participate in professional associations, industry events, lunch-and-learns, and community networking to grow SERVPRO Team Shaw's local footprint.

·      Collaborate with sales and operations teams to foster a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and process improvement.


Project Coordination & CRM

·      Perform project management oversight for small-scale jobs — ensuring quality outcomes, client satisfaction, and smooth operational handoffs.

·      Utilize Salesforce to track all activities, manage pipeline, and maintain accurate client and opportunity records.


Qualifications


Required

·      Minimum 2–5 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: restoration, construction, roofing, insurance, military, customer service, or B2B sales.

·      High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred.

·      Self-motivated, organized, and highly flexible — able to pivot between emergency response and proactive business development at a moment's notice.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive or emotionally charged situations with empathy and professionalism.

·      Genuine desire to help people through difficult situations.

·      Must be able to prioritize independently and manage time without close supervision.

·      Thrives in high-stress, fast-paced situations — urgency is a core part of this role.

·      Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce preferred.

·      Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to travel across assigned territory.

·      Ability to pass a background check and provide work authorization documentation (Form I-9) as required by federal law.


Preferred

·      Experience in the commercial cleaning, restoration, or insurance claims industry.

·      Existing relationships with property managers, insurance adjusters, or facilities managers in the Houston or Texas market.

·      Familiarity with the SERVPRO brand, systems, and service lines.

·      Prior experience using Salesforce CRM.


Schedule & Work Expectations

This is a full-time field-based position. While core business development activities occur during standard business hours, this role requires 24/7 on-call availability to respond to property damage emergencies as they arise — including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A strong sense of urgency, the ability to respond rapidly, and comfort operating in unpredictable, high-stakes situations are essential to success in this role.
