Base Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hour based on experience
Average Total Earnings: Approximately $26/hour worked based on actual employee earnings

Our Construction Technicians rebuild homes and businesses after water damage, fires, storms, and other property losses.

This isn’t production-line construction where you do the same task all day. One project might involve drywall and finishing, another trim and paint, and another rebuilding several rooms of a home after a major loss.

You’ll work alongside experienced Crew Leaders while continuing to develop practical, transferable construction skills.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with reconstruction projects from demolition through completion
• Install insulation
• Hang and finish drywall
• Perform interior and exterior painting
• Install baseboard, casing, trim, and other finish materials
• Perform basic framing and carpentry
• Prepare and maintain jobsites
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Follow plans, scopes, and instructions from the Crew Leader
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Deliver professional workmanship in customers’ homes and businesses

Some construction experience is helpful, but we will train someone with the right attitude and aptitude.

What You Can Earn

Base pay is $20–$25/hour, depending on experience.

Based on actual employee payroll, Construction Technicians average approximately $26 in gross earnings per hour worked when overtime and other premium-pay opportunities are included.

The $26/hour figure is an historical average and is not guaranteed. Actual earnings vary based on hours, assignments, workload, experience, and available premium-pay work.

Skills You Will Develop on the Job

No extensive experience required — we train the right people.

You will learn:

● Proper use of hand and power tools

● Insulation installation

● Drywall hanging and finishing

● Interior and exterior painting

● Trim and casing installation

● Jobsite organization and safety practices

These are real, transferable trade skills that support long-term career growth.

Qualifications

● Valid driver’s license and eligibility to drive company vehicles under the company’s commercial auto insurance policy are required as a condition of this position

● Reliable transportation

● Effective written and verbal communication

● Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures

Schedule

● Full-time: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday

● 40 hours per week

● Frequent overtime

● Primarily local travel

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

● Lift 50 lbs regularly; up to 100 lbs with assistance

● Walk and stand for long periods

● Drive company vehicles

● Climb ladders

● Work at ceiling heights

● Work in crawl spaces and attics

● Perform repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling

● Work with chemicals and equipment

● Occasionally wear a respirator

Exposure may include fumes, airborne particles, heat, odors, and loud environments.
