SERVPRO is seeking an experienced Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial reconstruction projects resulting from fire, water, mold, and storm damage.
This role is ideal for a construction professional who can successfully manage projects from estimate approval through final completion while maintaining quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a leader who is organized, accountable, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
As a Reconstruction Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of reconstruction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and customer communication.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects from start to finish
- Review scopes of work and ensure projects are completed according to approved estimates
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and internal resources
- Conduct site visits and quality control inspections
- Monitor project budgets and profitability
- Maintain project timelines and proactively address delays
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding project progress
- Coordinate with insurance adjusters and carriers when necessary
- Manage change orders and supplemental work
- Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Participate in project meetings and operational planning
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- 3 years of project management experience in construction, restoration, reconstruction, or related industry
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction practices
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read construction estimates, scopes, and plans
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Restoration industry experience
- Xactimate experience
- Experience working with insurance claims and adjusters
- Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes
- IICRC certifications
- Construction management or related certifications
