Key Responsibilities
Emergency Response
- Respond immediately to emergency losses, both during normal business hours and while on-call.
- Arrive on site quickly, assess damage, gather critical loss information, and determine next steps.
- Communicate clearly with customers, property managers, adjusters, plumbers, and other referral partners.
- Take initial photos, moisture readings, and document conditions for the Mitigation Team.
- Show professionalism, empathy, and confidence during high-stress situations.
- Help customers understand the restoration process and what to expect next.
- Provide reassurance, problem-solving, and support from the first phone call through handoff to the production team.
- Build trust and rapport with customers, plumbers, agencies, and other partners.
- Identify potential job opportunities and ensure complete onboarding of new losses.
- Represent SERVPRO positively in the field and at partner locations.
- Complete digital documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and response-ready vehicle and equipment.
- Coordinate with dispatch, the mitigation team, and management to ensure seamless job handoff.
- Participate in weekly meetings, field training, and ongoing skills development.
- Standard workweek with scheduled shifts.
- Rotating on-call duties (evenings, weekends, and some holidays).
- Must be able to respond to emergency losses within the required response window.
- Flexibility and reliability are essential—customers depend on our rapid response.
- Strong empathy, communication, and customer-service mindset.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and make decisions quickly.
- Comfortable working in homes, commercial buildings, and occasionally in challenging environments (attics, crawlspaces, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Prior restoration, construction, or emergency response experience is a plus but not required—training provided.
