What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mitigation Project Manager position at SERVPRO of NE Grand Rapids?
Primary Role:
Manage production crews and jobs according to SERVPRO procedures. Assign and coordinate jobs with crews. Keep Operations Manager, Production Manager, or Owner updated on production, as appropriate. Resolve problems quickly as they arise. Perform production work as needed. Provide and communicate clear and accurate pretesting, scoping of services, and job estimates. Monitor and follow up on all assigned jobs ensuring customer needs are met.
Results Expected:
Crews are effectively managed to maximize production. Production processes are performed according to guidelines. Documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Production costs are maintained at the established rate. Both internal and external communications are timely and effective. Jobs are completed, either meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee Franchise processes relating to customers and ensure customer needs are met
- Manage projects from start to finish
- Manage relationships with centers of influence (COIs)
- Manage job file documentation, job profitability, and efficiencies
- Create and/or review job scopes and ensure accuracy and clarity
- Review job site documentation to support the services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing process
- Maintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors and insurance representatives.
Position Requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Knowledgeable with Xactimate estimating software preferred
- Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
- High school diploma/GED
- IICRC certification(s) required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products
- Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
