Summary:
The position will engage across all functions of the company and have exposure through the entire project process. The ideal candidate is interested in growing business, has superior analytical skills, is organized, and has a sense of urgency while maintaining direction, and focus. Candidates who take initiative, have a tremendous work ethic and a high level of integrity are considered ideal.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
- Responsible for identifying potential cost savings and/or cost problems that may occur on various projects
- Attends, contributes to, and/or leads meetings with team members, sales, vendors, customers and management as needed.
- Use a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Project Manager, and company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Strong academic credentials: bachelor’s degree required
- 3-4 years’ experience in Project Management role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-directed, self-motivated, hard-working, strong initiative
- Ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced, working environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
