Payroll Specialist
Monroe, LA | On-Site | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | $50,000–$55,000/year

We're looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to own payroll for approximately 130 employees across five locations and companies. You'll be responsible for accurate, timely payroll processing while working closely with HR and the Controller.
This is a great opportunity for someone who knows payroll, enjoys working independently, and wants to take ownership of their work without managing a large team.
What You'll Do
- Own the full payroll process using ADP
- Process payroll for 130 employees across multiple companies and locations
- Enter and verify new hires, terms, pay changes, deductions, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and PTO into payroll
- Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
- Answer employee and manager payroll questions
- Assist with payroll-related benefits, reporting, reconciliations, and audits
- Partner with HR and the Controller to ensure payroll is accurate and compliant
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of hands-on payroll experience preferred
- Experience processing payroll from start to finish
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with payroll software and Excel
- ADP experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Accounting or bookkeeping experience is a plus, but payroll experience is our priority.
