Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks® Online
- Create financial reports and perform analysis
- Monitor and maintain inventory, fixed assets, and business resume
- Maintain tax, insurance, and compliance requirements
- Maintain vendors, resources, and subcontractors
- Complete accounts payable activities
- Complete accounts receivable activities
- Maintain petty cash fund
- Prepare and maintain cash management reports
- Coordinate and administer payroll
- Perform technology backups
- Perform technology setup, protection, and tracking
- Gather and coordinate hardware and software requirements
- Maintain relationships with technology vendors
- Record and pay supplier invoices in a timely manner
- Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
- Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account
- Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
- Maintain the petty cash fund
- Sending checks to mortgage company for endorsement
- Reconcile credit card statement
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Follow accounting policies and procedures
- Reconcile/Verify certain reoccurring expenses (cell phone, insurance, local taxes, business license, etc.) prior to processing payment
- 3 year(s) of experience with QuickBooks Online®
- 2 years of experience with collection activities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times
- Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Very self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to multi-task
