Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Residential Construction Manager to lead and oversee residential restoration and construction projects, from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard construction management software. As a Residential Construction Manager, you will coordinate all phases of construction, manage teams, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and ensure safety and compliance at every stage. Your energetic leadership will drive project success and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize industry tools as Dash, Restoration Manager
- Xactimate estimating software for creating accurate estimates ensuring timely approvals from insurance as well as adequate production budgets and allowances.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Dash and Restoration Manager to document and track jobs statuses
- Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is performed efficiently.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and contracts accurately to guide project execution and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services; negotiate contracts when necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to design specifications.
- Coordinate project meetings with insurance adjusters including clients, architects, engineers, and team members for seamless communication.
- Track project progress through detailed scheduling and reporting; identify potential delays or issues early to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all construction activities meet local codes, regulations, and environmental standards while maintaining a focus on sustainability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential construction management with a strong background in construction site supervision.
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction estimating processes.
- Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and construction site safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse teams, clients and insurance professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations applicable to residential construction projects.
- The expertise to ensure each project’s success while fostering a collaborative team environment dedicated to excellence in residential restoration and construction.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
