Van drivers play a key role in transporting smaller groups of students, often those with special routes or needs, ensuring they get to and from school safely and on time. The city of Waterville is located on the banks of the Kennebec River and is easily accessible from two exits off I-95 as well as Route 201. - Obeys all state and local traffic laws.
- Observes all mandatory safety regulations for vans.
- Discharges students only at authorized stops.
- Transports only authorized students.
- Treats students with due respect and understanding.
- Adheres to all Waterville Board of Education policies.
- Be 21 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and BMV- required check of driving history.
- Be able to pass a state of Maine DOE criminal history record check with fingerprinting.
