Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction and implement evidence-based interventions for students with social, emotional and behavioral needs.
- Serve as the special education case manager duties including IEP development, implementation, collect and analyze student data to inform instructional and behavioral decision-making.
- Create and maintain a safe, positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Utilize trauma-informed instructional practices and social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies to support students.
- Provide coaching, guidance and ongoing training to educational technicians to ensure consistent implementation of instructional and behavioral supports.
- Work collaboratively with BCBA, general education teachers, related service providers, administrators and families to support student achievement across settings.
- Standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, bending, and reaching outward
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to be certified in Safety Care
