Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating and implementing developmentally appropriate activites and lessons in a safe environment? RSU 24 is seeking a PreK Teacher at Mountain View School in Sullivan and would welcome you to our MV Team! Key skill areas include fostering a positive classroom where children feel valued and safe, ability to encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning, classroom management with knowledge or willingness to learn Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and conscious discipline, collaborating positively with peers, and love of young children. Come be a part of the team to build the academic foundation and love of school for our cougar cubs!
The successful candidate will hold a Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification #029 Early Elementary Endorsement. Must hold a current MDOE Criminal History Records Check. Pay is based upon experience and level of education.
