Occupational Therapist

RSU No. 67 is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our RSU No. 67 team. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to impact our students' lives significantly.

Position Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide expert therapy services to students in various settings, helping them improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess student conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement therapy interventions to improve students' motor skills, coordination, and independence
• Educate students and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment use
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Reports to the Special Education Coordinator
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current State of Maine licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• State of Maine CHRC (Criminal History Record Check)
