Description
Bruce M. Whittier Middle School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered 8th Grade
Math and Science Teacher to join our middle school team. The ideal candidate will
inspire curiosity, encourage strong mathematical reasoning and scientific thinking skills,
and build student confidence through engaging, hands-on learning experiences that
support academic growth for all learners.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of middle school math
and science content, along with effective instructional practices that promote inquiry,
problem-solving, and critical thinking. A strong emphasis on differentiation, data-
informed instruction, and collaboration with colleagues is essential to meet the diverse
needs of students.
