Oceanside Middle School
Regional School Unit 13 finds itself in need of a long-term substitute and is seeking a dynamic and innovative Special Educator to work with students, with behavioral disabilities, in grades 6-8. This position works in conjunction with a Case Management model that allows for the focus of the Day Treatment (ISP) Teacher to be on educating the students and less on the stresses of paperwork.
Wage: $260.77/day

Responsibilities Will Include
- Designing and delivering specially designed instruction in multiple content areas,
- Supporting students with behavioral needs,
- Collecting and utilizing behavioral and academic data to inform interventions and instruction,
- Supervising Special Education Technicians,
- Completing Special Education documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Required
- Maine Criminal Records History check
- Appropriate education, background, experience, and have (or be eligible for) Maine Department of Education certification (#282 endorsement)
