Job Goal(s): We seek a classroom instructor to prepare students to take the written permit test to become Class B Commercial Drivers. This is a per diem part-time position. Flexible based upon the qualified teachers schedule.

Evaluation: Completed annually by Director or designee

Qualifications
- Driver education instructor license
- 22 years of age and has a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Maine DOE Certification (Background Check) or ability to obtain CHRC
- Valid license
- There are many other requirements but if the aforementioned requirements are met, we would like to speak with you.
- If the applicant does not currently have their driver education instructor license but meets all the other requirements we would consider training the right candidate.
- A list of the full requirements as mandated by the State of Maine can be emailed upon request.
- The driving instruction will be done in tandem with CMCC on their Auburn campus.
- 6 years of driving experience as a licensed CDL Class A or B operator
- Per diem based on the qualified individual's schedule.
