RSU 16 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Technician II/III to join our team, specializing in supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This position will be instrumental in helping students reach their full potential within a structured and supportive self-contained special education program.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and instructional assistance to students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Implement Individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the guidance of Certified Special Education Staff.
- Actively participate in a collaborative team to support students’ needs and progress.
- Must be able to obtain Safety-Care Certification (training provided if needed).
- Possible Physical Demands, but not limited to:
- Standing, Walking, Sitting, Kneeling, Bending and Reaching outward
- Ability to live 50 lbs
