FULL TIME FACILITIES DIRECTOR

2025-2026 School Year

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Valid Class B and C driver's licenses with a clean driving record; school bus
  
  

endorsement required or willing to obtain.

• Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, tractors) and snow removal
  
  

equipment (e.g., plows, sanders).

• AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act) certification or willing to
  
  

Obtain.

• Trade skills in carpentry, painting, electrical, and/or plumbing (within licensing
  
  

limitations).

• Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills.
• Trains custodial staff in safe work practices and ensures compliance.
• Demonstrates strong work habits and positive working relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to use technology effectively for communication, reporting,
  
  

and facilities operations.

• If hired after July 1, 2021, must complete pre-employment screening through
  
  

RSU #89’s occupational health provider.

• Other qualifications as deemed appropriate and acceptable by the Board.
