PK-6 ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL



Qualifications: Master’s degree in educational leadership or a related field,

administrator certification (040) , 3-5 years of experience as a classroom teacher or

school administrator.



Instructional Leadership

• Support professional development for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Monitor student achievement data and use to inform instructional decisions
• Knowledge and implementation of the Marzano teacher evaluation model
  
  

School Culture And Climate

• Foster a positive and supportive school culture that promotes student well-being and engagement
• Collaborate with staff, students, and families to address student needs and Concerns
  
  

School Operations

• Manage the school budget and allocate resources effectively
• Oversee school facilities and ensure a safe and healthy learning environment
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations and policies
• Engage stakeholders to advance the focus areas of the strategic plan of the School Department
  
  

Staff Leadership

• Recruit, hire, support and evaluate staff
• Provide professional development and support for all staff
• Foster a collaborative and supportive environment
• Dynamic and visionary instructional leader
  
  

Community Relations

• Build strong relationships within school department, with parents and the community
• Communicate effectively with parents and the community
