The Westbrook School Department is seeking dedicated professionals to join our Transportation Team as School Bus Drivers.
As a school bus driver, the selected candidate will have a valid Maine Class B driver's license with S (School Bus) & P (Passenger) endorsements. As a bus driver for Westbrook School Transportation you will play an important role in providing the safe and reliable transportation of our students to and from their academic settings. We provide paid training for individuals looking to get their Class B school bus license as well as ongoing safety training for all drivers.

The Westbrook School Transportation Department is a positive workplace environment dedicated to the safe and friendly transportation of all students. We offer a supportive environment for all drivers that includes a collaborative relationship with the school administration to address any student transportation issues. We have a dedicated group of driving professionals who work together to problem-solve and make our department an enjoyable place to work each day. We employ two full-time staff mechanics who ensure that all of our transportation vehicles are meticulously maintained and that each driver feels confident that their assigned vehicle is always in safe working order. Our transportation fleet consists of late-model vehicles that offer the best in safety and comfort for both the driver and the student. Our team of drivers, mechanics, and office personnel is what sets Westbrook School Transportation apart. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our students, families, and staff.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent driving record
- Valid Maine Class B Driver’s License with School Bus & Passenger endorsements.
- Appropriate licensing to meet Maine laws and regulations.
- Must pass an annual physical.
- Valid DOE fingerprinting certification.
