2nd Shift Custodian at Richmond Middle High School

Richmond Middle/High School is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our facilities team as a Second Shift Custodian. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces as needed
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory
• Set up and break down spaces for events or activities
• Monitor building security and ensure doors/windows are secured at end of shift
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and report larger issues to administration
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior custodial or maintenance experience (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks regularly
• Must pass background check requirements

$18.00 to $21.20 pay scale depending upon experience as well as a $0.25/hour shift differential.
