What You’ll Do ~ Turn Concepts into Build-Ready Models
- Create and maintain detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD, Revit, and industry-leading tools.
- Model pathways, cable routing, racks, devices, and full low-voltage infrastructure.
- Lead clash detection using Navisworks and BIM workflows.
- Collaborate with structural, electrical, mechanical, and low-voltage teams to resolve conflicts before construction starts.
- Partner with project managers, estimators, and field techs to translate requirements into accurate, constructible designs.
- Keep drawings updated, organized, and aligned with project timelines.
- Manage BIM standards, documentation, and version control.
- Review models for constructability and accuracy, recommending improvements to streamline installations.
- 3-5 years of CAD/BIM work in construction, electrical, or low-voltage environments.
- Experience on large commercial or technical projects is a major plus.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
- Strong understanding of low-voltage systems (network, security, AV, access control, fiber/copper pathways).
- Skilled in clash detection and multi-discipline coordination.
- Highly detailed, organized, and solution-oriented.
- Strong communicator who works well with engineers, PMs, and field crews.
