We are seeking a FIELD JR. AREA MANAGER to become an integral part of our North Jersey team! You will coordinate and oversee the organization's daily operations.Position Title: Junior Area ManagerDepartment: Field OperationsClassification: ExemptReporting RelationshipsReports to: Regional Area Manager, Area Manager, or Operations ManagerSupervises: Area Supervisors, Site Supervisors, Leads, and Service Partners at various accountsRole OverviewThe Junior Area Manager oversees staffing, training, and daily operations to ensure cleaning services meet company standards. This role manages employee scheduling, account oversight, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with safety and quality protocols. Responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding new hires, conducting inspections, resolving customer concerns, managing supplies and budgets, and ensuring service completion. Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational OversightManage task schedules for each assigned account, making necessary adjustments to meet operational needs.Conduct building inspections as scheduled, utilizing CompanyCam for photo documentation.Provide detailed recaps for each location visited and promptly resolve any quality inspection concerns.Use Paycom to verify that scheduled services are completed.Maintain high client account retention by ensuring excellent service and communication.Understand and manage account budgets, reporting any issues to the Operations Manager or Director of Operations.Customer & Quality ManagementEffectively resolve customer issues by acknowledging concerns, implementing solutions, and closing tickets through the support system.Collaborate with the Training Manager to close open issues from Internal Audits.Use Cleaning Manuals and Task Schedules to ensure you are meeting the clients expectations and contractual obligations. Account Supplies, Tools and EquipmentManage building supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels while preventing over-ordering.Utilize the ordering platform to procure and transport supplies as needed.Ensure preventative maintenance is performed on tools and equipment to keep them in good working order. Safety & ComplianceAddress and report safety concerns to the HR/Safety Manager.Ensure the team uses slip-resistant shoes and wet floor signs, and follows all safety protocols.Conduct OSHA-required annual safety training to ensure compliance and workplace safety.Recruitment & OnboardingCommunicate job openings to the team and actively promote the Referral Bonus Program.Actively recruit and onboard cleaners to fill open roles in assigned accounts, assisting HR as needed.Conduct new hire training within one week of hire, ensuring proper documentation is completed and submitted.Staffing & Employee ManagementCommunicate staffing changes, schedule adjustments, call-outs, no-call no-shows, and other personnel issues to HR.Oversee the employee roster to ensure proper staffing levels.Monitor employee time punches to prevent payroll issues and report call-outs to management.Manage open accounts and employee hours, including covering open positions when necessary.QualificationsEducation: High School diploma required; college degree preferred.Knowledge: Proficiency in Google Suite, ExpressTime, and CompanyCam.Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience.Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple sites, self-motivation, creativity, and effective communication.
